I must agree with the other reviewer. CBS really needs to clean house at the top and go back to the drawing board. Acceptable but left leaning investigative journalism was the norm for 60 Minutes. Today investigative reporting/journalism is completely absent from the program.
Ratings have been in steady decline and let's not mince words....ratings are dismal. Remember when 60 Minutes used to be a ratings juggernaut.
It's hard to believe that 60 minutes would be gushing over censorship of the German populous. Many have taken to social media to express their displeasure of this episode of the show. JMHO.

Matt is in top form in this episode. There were some excellent topics I could mention. DOGE vs USAID. Or the segment on President Trump signing off on men no longer able to participate in women's sports but....
...the daily cancellation steals the show. Matt's dry sense of humour coupled with sarcasm turned up to 11, makes for a hilarious daily cancellation.
Not to spoil anything but for the first time since the Superbowl in 2021, the end zones will no longer be painted with the slogan "end racism". This is in the description of the show.
I can't do justice to Matt's epic response to the end of the slogan. Watch for yourself and decide. IMHO it was a masterclass in sarcasm.

Not so much of review but just some thoughts on this episode and the show in general.
Allegiance is likely a program a minuscule number of Canadians asked for. ...but leave it up to the brain trusts at The CBC to give the show a green light. I find the premise of the show far fetched. (Okay...it's not a documentary). It is hard to believe a rookie Constable is fighting to have her father, who is a MP, exonerated. I lived in Calgary for nearly 4 years and have many relatives living in the greater Vancouver area. For most of the part Surrey is not highly regarded.
Anyhow this episode was watchable but it would have been better if condensed to 22 minutes. In terms of the main cast, the only bright spot consistently is Enrico Colantoni. Supinder Wraich is unconvincing as a lead. JMHO.
